My Daughter Is Getting Chunky and Cries Constantly for Food

Dear Miss Cynthia, My daughter will be 3 years old in March. It was brought to my attention that she looks kind of chunky, she weighs 40lbs and 10oz, and she's 3ft. and 2 inches. She eats a lot and cries constantly. If I don't give her food, as if she's starving even if she ate not too long ago! I need help and I don't know what to do. I love my daughter and don't want to give her food and make her fat, but what do I do when she cries and cries for food? It's breaking my heart! -What to do in Ohio Dear What to do in Ohio, It is a proven fact that some people eat to live or live to eat. Your daughter lives to eat! Your daughter loves the taste of food, which is not a bad thing if you continually let her snack on the right foods. You need to give her healthy foods that are low in sugar and low in CALORIES; raw vegetables are the best, next comes raw fruit and dry cereal with little sugar. Please beware of choking hazards in some of the raw vegetables! You must limit her CALORIE intake, not her food intake! Do your homework! If you don't, she may develop a weight problem!
