What Should I Do With My Ex's Jewelry?

Dear Ms. Cynthia, What is the proper thing to do when you have jewelry that was given to you by an ex-boyfriend and you yourself are in a new relationship? I have some simply lovely pieces, as I was spoiled a bit by my ex but it feels funny wearing them and being complimented by new boyfriend. Don't make the same mistake I did. It is a waste of nice jewelry! The next time your new boyfriend comes over, tell him the truth. Show him your jewelry, all of it, and share where it came from. Then, by all means, wear it and enjoy it! If this feels uncomfortable, just be honest next time he asks about the jewelry you are wearing and I am sure he won't ask again!
